History

Following World War I two Tierser families completed the construction of a grocery store and pension. Unfortunately neither establishment lasted under the difficult circumstances. Subsequently they were bought by a steelworker from Milan. He brought them together and converted them to the classic establishment now known as the Hotel Paradies.

The Lombard Company originally wanted to create a recreation area for their employees however the idea would not be realized as a result of the uncertain times brought on by a fascistic regime.

In 1962 the establishment was bought by Alfred Pircher. He managed to run the hotel successfully for many years. In time it became an established family business. Today the tradition continues with Friedrich Pircher, his wife Edeltraud, and their children Katharina and Peter as a second generation now runs the Hotel.  Family values will always be a cornerstone of their philosophy. Keeping things unique as well as maintaining family traditions, they continue in Alfred Pircher’s  footsteps but with a touch of modern day individuality as well as a great deal of passion and personal care for their patrons!
